I came across this in someone trash, looks almost new so I threw the thing in the truck and figured I'd look at it when I got home. Guess what, I couldn't believe the thing actually runs. I think it may need a couple of things like a gas filter, mabe a new spark plug and maybe the screen if there is one cleaned. It runs pretty decent now but wiy=th some minor things it should run top. I just wished they would have thrown away the vacuum parts along with it.

Cleaned up the plug and put it back in, I think it could really use a new one, removed the muffler and made sure everything was alright there, checked the gas filter and it looked new. Put the cover back in place, poured out what little gas is in the tank and fill it with fresh premium and hit the primer bulb three times and it started and ran like a champ. Don't know how long it will last cause it's a Ryobi but I guess it will be a good back up or could be used for some fast clean ups.

Nice score. I've pulled a few trimmers from trash cans that just needed fuel lines.

You could easily make a tube for the vacumn and use a bucket to collect debris :)
