Anything that has oil/grease in it can be changed. It is just a matter of how much work is involved. If you want instructions on how to do it we will need to know what one you have. Tag, sticker or imprinted model number will be on your transaxle. We need the model or part number.
 
Is this a hydrostat drive? If it has two side by side motion foot pedals it probably can be serviced. If it has a forward pedal and the reverse is a round pedal just sticking up through the foot rest it is probably a non-serviceable throw away box. Do need name and number of the trans.
