I have heard that these allow one to clear large meadows and other wide open areas faster. I am assuming these would chop thick grass and make mowing easier.

I've got one for my tractor,it's called a finish mower but theres also brush hogs that do what their name implies.I used to mow my lawn with the finish mower but because I have a lot of trees ,planters and other things it was time consuming.For 2 acres it took me 3hrs.with my ZTR 45mins.the finish mower I have was made in Italy,name brand is first choice. russ
