Now I started to re-assemble the engine but realized I have now idea on much torque I should be putting on the crank cover case bolts or the bolts that hold the engine valve cover ?
Rough torque numbers don’t work for us. Post the engine numbers and we will get you the exact numbers you need. Members who reply are service techs, not guys who just want to reassemble some roughly.
On the page with fastener specs we can see the specs for IP70 engines. check out the Sump bolts row, the IP61 and 1P65 engines have a torque spec of 80 -106 in and IP70 16-18 ft-lbs.
Ok I was confused never seen numbers in ft-lbs so about 194 in-lbs, which seem like alot. way more than what my guess about 50 in-lbs
