I have a toro timecutter 4250. last week one brake would not disengage so we took the linkgage off so we could cut. Now, the cutter sits in the garge by itself and make a clicking noise, almost like it wants to start. its sporadic clicking
Disconnect the battery now. It sounds an electric brake module failure. I had the short out on the equipment and started smoking before I could get the tools to remove the battery cable. Or park the mower outside by itself, don't the mower burning down the house.
Then post the 5 digit model number from the serial number tag along with the serial number. The 4250 came as a SS or MX version with multiple variations base on the serial number.
