Toro Z master Commercial 3000

We have a Toro Z Master Commercial 3000 Engine ECV740. It has started stalling after a couple of hours of work and won't restart. The filter almost looks dry when this happens. We are wondering if it's a fuel pump possibly. Any thoughts or advice would be a blessing! Thanks in advance

More likely to be floating debris in the fuel tank than a failed pump .
