I have a briggs 124K02-0110-B1-01100156, I need a shortblock, and toro used to like to go 1 number off in their engines,is there a toro dealer out there that could cross reference this model number?..i want to believe it is a 799985 p/n,thanks Ty.

The 799985 is the correct p/n for the shortblock. Price $170.40. the recommended replacement engine 126m02-1015-e1 is $160.00. So a complete engine with a 2 year warranty is a dollar cheaper than the shortblock with a 1 year warranty.

I appreciate it,but 20 min before I read your post I ordered one on ebay,for 130.00,oh well ,the funny thing is I mic'd the crank and it measured 1 inch,i may have measured wrong,and 2 and 15/16th on the length.
finally got the shortblock today, I had to ,ake a trip to the ups terminal,got it back home and installed everything and it runs great,thanks everyone. Ty
