I had a big oak tree in my front yard that fell a month ago. People came and stump grinded all the stumps and roots out of my yard. But now I have about a 12 foot radius of just dirt. My grass is just your typical Bahia, but I still like it to look nice. So.. I live in florida., and was wandering if I could lay down sod this time of year. Will it take root?
South Florida? As long as you have sprinklers, I think this is a good time of year to put down sod. A lot less heat/water stress than in the middle of summer. Still plenty of time to take root before the days get short.
