Time to Mulch the leaves

Gonna have to spend most of the day Friday mulching leaves. We had some rain and wind last night and now I have a carpet of leaves on the driveway and lawn. A couple of years ago, we had an early snow, it snowed before I could get to the leaves. That made snowblowing very difficult. Trying to snowblow over frozen leaves at the edge of the drive, the snowblower kept getting caught in the frozen leaves and jerking it sideways. Ain't making that mistake again. 4-5 hours of fun tomorrow!!!

Hey indypower... If you get a big enough 2stage snow blower... it will mulch the leaves as it blows the snow and ice.:biggrin:

It's too easy to be caught off guard. Seems like snow comes a lot earlier than it used to. We keep waiting for the perfect day to go out to do leaves - if we wait too long it will be too late!

kenny, My snowblower is big enough to mulch leaves and has done that before. The problem is getting thru the frozen leaves as it causes the snowblower to pull real hard to one side. Any way, I got them mulched today then picked up 4 bags of mulch. would have been about 20 bags not mulched.
