The tiger cat 52 front tires (13x5-6) are tubeless with a 1/2" 'axle'. I wanted to replace them with flat-free tires but I can only find same with 5/8" or 3/4" axles.
Also there is 6" between the axle support brackets. That too seemed to be unusual with respect to what I can find on line. Has anyone found a good way to replace the front tires with flat free tires?

Hmmm you might ought go look at the front spindles setup. The wheels have 3/4 ID bearings, The 1/2 OD x 7-1/2 L bolt has on it a 1/2 ID x 3/4 OD spacer tube which is 5-7/8 long. Also there are two spacers on end end of the tube which 3/4 ID x 1-1/8 OD x 5/8 W

I see that in the parts diagram. But I did not grasp that the bearings were 3/4". So, can I assume that a flat free tire with a 3/4" bearing will work?
It is difficult to tell from the ads (mostly Amazon) if there will be a need for additional, or different, spacers as described above as 3/4 ID x 1-1/8 OD x 5/8.
Thank you for your answer above.

This why you have to look up the part numbers. The bearing are tapered LM11949/LM11910 bearings and cones. Now as to what is in those aftermarket tire assemblies I no idea.

Thank you again. I have a lot to learn about some of these details. For now, I will just order new tires, and tubes as well, to mount on the existing rims.
The parts diagrams in my owners manual (printed in 2013) can be pretty vague. For example, Ref. No. 44, Part No. 482621, Roller Bearing;
42, 482622, seal; 49, 43584, Spacer, caster Wheel. Not particularly specific for guys like me.
Are LM11949/LM11910 part numbers from a newer catalog or found via additional research using the listed part numbers in the owners manual?

Crossed Referenced part numbers.

The part number is an industry standard part numbers. But if you wish to pay over $20 per set and the there two use per wheel plus two seals. Here buy then sale the LM1949/LM11910 set for $9 which saves my customers the added expense of Scag buying and repackaging the bearing sets.

Now the seals are available through a Rotary dealer under part number 10013 and the spacers are Rotary 10064.

OK. I finally get it. If or when I decide to go ahead and purchase flat free tires (typically with rims and bearings and sometimes spacers) I believe I now know enough to make sure I am ordering something that will work. I appreciate the time you have spent educating me. Thank you.
