To me this is much more important than anything in my life. I got to get this right. I doubt it will fly. I have been kicked off more fourms that you can believe. Never cuss, always nice/true people just don't want to hear it. When you think about it, its really sad.

Mod. this is in your hands, what can I say?:newhere::confused3:

I personally don't care. I am a nonbeliever so I guess that makes me a bad person in your eyes. Now let hear about your mower not religion because that is what this forum is about because we sure don't agree on religion.

Says what's relevant to the topic discussion? If religion is relevant than go for it if now why do you need to?

Sorry, silly me. I ment to put this on the "FRONT PORCH" MAYBE THE MOD. WILL MOVE IT? (left caps on)

Reynoldston, I don't think anyone who is a nonbeliever is bad. There are all kinds, that do bad things. I still do. One of my friends is nonbeliever also. Great guy. The difference is when I sin I can go to God in Prayer and he forgives my sins. All of that for obeying him. I say you are a good person who helps others, a good family man, takes care of your home and yard, go to work everyday, you may even work with kids.

I heard a story about a Doctor who was seeing a patient. The guy asked him, doctor what will Heaven be like. The Doctor said, hear that dog scratching on the door? Yes! That dog has never been in this office, but he knows his master is in here, and that is where he want to be.

That is the way I feel about heaven my MASTER is there and that is where I want to be.

I think the thread is good here in the Site Discussion Forum because we are talking about one of the rules of the site. :anyone:

Like politics I don't believe that it belongs here and should not be allowed. I am a believer also, but that does not give me the right to post my beliefs any where I want to. This forum is for individuals who do lawn work or work on equipment related to it. Thank you for asking, but I hope the moderators say no to this request, as this will just open the door to other requests. As title says, " LawnMower Forum"

Well let me tell you a little bit about my self. Retired, Married 44 Years, 3 Kids, been in the used car, parts, scrap, copper, brass, Alum., anything to make an honest dollar for 16 years. Been a Christian for 35 years, preach for no pay. Hire my Lawn cut, cut my grass at the shop, got one Tomato plant, 7 of the biggest Elefant plants in the world:rolleyes:

Now as far as Politix and Religion. I believe it two of the most important subjects in the world right now. Out side of the family.

I understand Reynoldston not wanting to discuss it. But, for the believer we are told to give and answer to every man that ask us of the reason of the hope that is within us.

Oh, can you all provide me with a link for Parts Manual on line for FREE? I have been looking and can't seem to find them. TIA

Now, for my mower, I have a Gravely 1740, I bought used, I LOVE IT! If it quite tomorrow I would buy a new zero turn. I have only used if for 3 years I really think its fun to cut grass with it. I have cut 4 yards for FREE. I try to talk all my friends into using it when they stop at the shop. They probaly think I am just trying to get them to cut my grass. I just want them to see how much fun it is. When wil it become work????????:confused2:

Sorry, I forgot what I was here for. I need the manual on line for my Gravely 1740ZT so I can get part numbers Gravely had a site but it was not EVERYTHING I needed. Probably because of the age of my mower.:frown: so if you can help I will be grateful. TIV!

Off Topic Discussion
When you're done mowing, grab a seat on the Lawn Mower Forum front porch and talk about whatever comes to mind (except politics, of course!).

This seemed to invite more than just talkiing about Grass, Mowers, Yards. Not to be a smart mouth or know it all, just the way I see it.

Is 1740ZT what is on the label underneath the seat on your Gravely for Model#??? Does it have a Serial#on the label? Do you know what Year it was built? I may be able to locate an Owner & Parts manual online for you but need "specific" info if possible.

BTW, the ACLU has made it next to impossible for us to share our Faith and witness openly about Jesus, without breaking someone's "rules".....but we also need to be sensitive to do so appropriately and not include it in every other sentence we post....therefore appearing to "push it upon others". We still have plenty of opportunities to tell others why we have hope when it doesn't seem like we should!!!

If they or you run across a forum with a section for Politics and Religion then fine but I agree with Rivets, I don't believe that it belongs here. As a moderator I'd say it needs to be removed.

No, a lawn mower site's forums are not for religion or politics, as they will just stir up hard feelings.

You cannot even have a Christian site without a lot of bickering, but this is a "Lawn Mower" site!!!

We should be bickering about crappy mower brands, not who will be spending eternity in hell on their crappy mower!!!!!

BTW, I didn't say anything about Dixie Chopper!!!!
