I thought some of you might be interested in this. I was watching This video, and thought I sure would like to find one of those tools. An net search turned up nothing, so I decided to make one myself. After about 6 prototypes, I think I have it down pat. I can now time my Tecumseh without removing the head. Poke Here

Nice job, I’d ask you to make me one, but I’m lucky to have the Tecumseh tool which I purchased back in the 70’s. Only problem now is that there are not too many of the old Tecumseh engines around and even less techs who would know how to use it.

Yes, I removed it. I refined the tool, and made it more user friendly. The new tool works much better on larger motors.
