hello all i am needing to replace my carb and with my engine model i searched and found one that says its
supposed to fit but what i am not understanding is why does it have a fuel solenoid when the one i took off didnt?
it does have a wire coming from the harness that isnt in use but the solenoid has 2 prongs on it so if this is the carb i need
what hooks onto the 2nd prong and where will it be coming from?
can someone verify what carb i am supposed to have on this engine?! TIA
Solenoid is electrically isolated from the carburettor for obvious ( big bang ) reasons.
One wire is te + from the ignition and the other is an earth.
AFAIK it is not polarity sensative so you will need to add an earth wire.
