Tecumseh Carburetor replacement

I have a carb. that seems to be a replacement. The top half is the same a new 632991, but the bowl and high speed
adj. are different. I have a 640078A coming which is for the TVM 220-157069E. The choke is different on that. Can I just swap
choke shaft/blade? 143-346062

Check if the jets are the same size.

Check if the jets are the same size.

The answer is no......the choke blade and size is different.
I put the original back on after removing the Welch plugs and
cleaning again. It fires up with choke and high speed, but not at
low speed or idle........................crap
