Most all oils are now synthetic so I’m guessing it’s okay to use them in my walk behind Honda mower and my Cub Cadet 42 inch lawn tractor?

It won't hurt anything other than your wallet
It won't make the mower any better or last any longer either
IT will tend to leak out when the mower is not in use as things like oil seals designed to hold back SAE 30 when cold MAY not hold back 10W 30 / 10w40 which are a lot thinner when cold .
No real problem unless you store your mower on white carpet or fail to check the oil level every time you start the engine .
