Had the saw started at christmas to cut the christmas tree. Tried starting it today to cut firewood for campfires. It ran for about 2 seconds, was smokey and died. Won't restart. Plug is flooded with fuel every time I pull it and check it. I clear the flood like I saw instructions online to do and it refloods every time. Gas was mixed fresh today. Any ideas what to check??

Drain the tank, and pull the plug and dry it all out. Then reinstall the plug and pull the rope until it starts and burns the excess fuel off, and dies. Then after that, refill it with fresh fuel mix and try to start. If it floods again, you will have to take the carb apart and fix it.
