I just picked up another stihl saw ms260 pro with compression release ....will post pic when i get it running

It lives !!!!!!now i got find a top shroud and throw a chain on it

Just found out my top shroud is backordered.. stihl said i wont see it for a week and a half.....im about to lose my mind!!!! Very impatient lol

Modified an 026 top shroud to fit.....drilled a hole for the deco valve and cut off a tab here and there lol...looks like crap but i dont have to blow sawdust out of it anymore

Yeah, you don't want to run a saw without the engine shouding in place. That is what directs the air from the flywheel to go across the cylinder fins.
