Stihl FS90

Hello, I have a 4-5 year old Stihl FS90 trimmer and it really gets limited use. 1-2 years ago I brought it in to the shop as it wouldn't start and it needed a new carb, last season I drained the gas out of it and low and behold I go to use it this season and I am not even getting gas in the primer bulb, I really don't want to be raked over by the shop again, I just don't know where to start, thanks for any assistance. I am a bit handy and would feel okay taking it apart from what I have seen online, I just don't know if I go on ebay and buy a new carb and fuel filters and all, or if there is something else I can start with. Hello ,in the fuel tank there will be a filter on the end of the pick up tube ,make sure that it is not blocked or that the pick up tube has not become split .Gary
