Hi all, I have a STIHL BG85 blower with a seized flywheel. Screws below loosened and jammed it. I cannot remove the flywheel, tried tapping shaft. Any help? Thanks!

Personally I wouldn't be hitting the crankshaft stub directly but instead use a flywheel knocker which better impact shock without damaging the crankshaft.

If you don't have one this will be of no help but I use an air hammer.
Hold the blower by the flywheel an inch or two off your bench
Screw the retaining nut flush with the end of the crankshaft then hold the hammer tight against the rank and pull the trigger.
20,000 little taps a minute do less damage the a 2lb hammer .
Or find a repair shop that is not a new equipment shop and ask nicely if they can pop it off for you.
Another service I am happy to do if the person is not trying to play me for a mug .
Just about the only thing like this I do charge for is removing blades because they can do take a quite a bit of time & effort,
