So, recently whenever I drive my Craftsman, about once or twice when I make a hard turn it's been skipping. Yesterday I looked at it and noticed some of the teeth are worn. That and it's a little loose.

I don't know who the hell thought of that design, but it sucks! Couldn't they have come up with something better?

That don't look good that's hard to do on a craftsman. I am going to guess that you turn the wheels when not in motion.

I am about to scrap two craftsman with broke frames. I will give you the whole steering set up.

(( racing is the only sport that you need two balls ))

Sure there is a better design, for about 600 + bucks more. And that's what people that never grease those gears need.

those can be fun to work on. I have had a few where you had to pull the engine off, to have room to work.

This one I only have to remove the gas tank.

I try not to turn the wheels when not in motion, I only do that when trying to get it out of the shed.

If the steering is in good shape then that would be good.

I have two complete set ups one is all new pit it a on did a couple small jumps and broke the frame so not going to use craftsman any more for playing

(( racing is the only sport that you need two balls ))

Talked to the previous owner the other day (bought this thing used Sept. 2012)

Guy said he has never once greased a thing on it besides change the oil, which explains ALOT.:ashamed:

Metal on metal. Very hard on each other. Oil. For a reason.
