My 61 inch Turf tiger stalls when i try to engage the blades. The spindles all turn freely.

Turf Tiger #2 Temporarily disconnect the magneto ground wire and if this prevents stalling there is more than likely a safety switch malfunction but not necessarily the PTO safety switch.
