Simplicity Landlord Hydro 18 HP twin . The mower pto engagement switch does not always engages deck. you have to cycle it on off several times to engage and sometimes disengages when mowing , any ideas?

Have tried hot wiring the switch?

Get a short piece of wire and jump the switch and see if it works every time you jump it..
