Does anyone know the best place to get a 601630 spindle assembly for a Hustler Z 60 inch deck?

Plug that number into Google and you'll get a selection to choose from.

locate your unit in parts manual & find bearing part number, you can replace bearings yourself

this is just an example probably not your unit

Thanks for the help. Mower has run great for 13 years, first thing I've had to replace!

Thanks for the help. Mower has run great for 13 years, first thing I've had to replace!

My old Craftsman was reliable for 12 years, then the center spindle bearing died a noisy death taking out 10 of the 13 parts in the spindle assembly. I plugged the part numbers in my owners manual into Google and found all of them on-line, most of those cheaper than Sears was selling them for. Most were made by Briggs, who I thought made only engines. What's more, I found to my surprise that many of the parts are shared by other mower brands and models. That's a good thing when you are trying to find parts.
