Snapper RER Left Axle Bushing Problem?

Hi,
Bought a used M28 9 HP Snapper Rider and went through it fixing some things...

Installed a new Rotary Brand Axle Bushing and now a year and a half later it is toast!

Just ordered an Oregon Brand and I'm going to sleeve it with a Piece of Bronze...

To see if I can get more life out of it.

I guess the Snapper OEM is no longer available?

Has anyone else done this?

Thoughts?

Hello S.,

Amazon has B&S replacement, but they are proud of them. They also have lower cost ones, but I do not know the quality.
The main thing about these bushing is to grease them regularly.

Oregon and Rotary are simply distributors, selling aftermarket and sometimes OEM parts.
