snapper rer front wheels

Every thing seems normal but should the front wheels slide on the axle/kingpin?

there is no wobble, they just slide as a unit on the axle.

they spin freely. I bought it used, and it took 10 pumps, not 5 to get grease to squeeze out the outer bearings.

I have repacked bearings on older cars and I know they do not slide on the axle but this is my first rider

Look at this and see if you have everything as in the picture.

They should have some side play. But not more then about 1/4 inch.
