The thread title sums up my problem. The front end will no longer pivot or telescope. I kind of like the no pivot part but I really need to tighten the belt. I've drilled into the outer tube, applied penetrating oil, beat on it and applied an air hammer. If anyone has ever loosened a stuck tube or come up with another way to tighten the belt, please tell me how you did it.
