Snapper LT125 Model: 2690872 Serial Number: 2014719099. The old belt shredded badly and was thrown away before ordering a new one. This unit has the electric PTO. When I go online it references two belt sizes. One for a shallow groove pully and one for a deep groove pully. How can I tell if i have shallow or deep grooves on this deck or PTO?
The belt I purchased last year was an OEM Briggs part number 1732204SM 91.10" Kevlar and the width looks small in the spindle pully grooves. The width of the belt is narrower than other deck belts I have had on smaller Tractors. Also, after using it a year the wider outside surface of the belt is already showing surface wear, small cracks. Most belt wear I see over the years shows cracking from the inside out when the belt gets old. I suspect I have the wrong belt but other than buying a new one, how can I prove it?

Well the IPL is calling for Deep Groove spindle pulleys so I would assume you need the deep groove belt. PN 1733217SM but that one has been superseded to the 1732204SM belt. The belt should be an "A" belt which normally an 1/2" width.

Thank you for your quick reply, but I am still confused.
1. I do not know what IPL stands for.
2. Both you and I initially came up with the same part number 1732204SM. Partstree.com lists four possible belts. The one noted here is 91.10 x .34” for a shallow groove pulley. This is what I first bought.
3. Parts tree lists part number 1733217 which is 91.10 x .44 for the deep groove pulley which I believe I need since the 91.10” length fits now.
4. Parts tree.com also lists two other belts in 94.45” long in .34 and .44” width. I think these will be too long for my deck.
