Hello, All. Just purchased my first Snapper, after running both a HRX and a Timemaster for the past several years. I grabbed the 21" Commercial, self propelled w/ Honda engine (model 7800849). Anyhow, I'm not sure I'll love the bag style with the "Z clip," and am curious if anyone has found an old style bag (with rear door that drops down) which is compatible. I have perused the parts catalogs, and with the number of supersedes on parts, it was difficult to determine what may or may not work. Frankly, for cosmetic sake, I wouldn't mind a bag with graphics on it, rather than the plain black/gray which I have now.

Many, many, many hours were spent using that Z fold bag.

My updated hardware had the door style.

Both versions are fine.

The handle hardware is different for the two bag types.

My opinion, I love the Z slide bag. Takes all of two seconds to open or close it. The bag forms itself to easily go back to shape. Then just slide the black plastic C pipe over it. Very light weight and super simple. Best bag design on the market I think.
