I have a Silver Series Lawnboy (Model 10304 (I think)) that is running very slow.
I have cleaned the carburetor, cleaned the fuel tank, cleaned the fuel line, checked the governor spring (intact and tight), put in new fuel, have a new spark plug, have confirmed that the brake is free from the flywheel, and checked the exhaust ports. What else is there to check or do?
You have to find some one with a small engine tach. You unit should be running at a speed of 3200-3300 RPMs. Adjustment is manual by turning the adjuster on the bottom of the airvane.

Well since we don't what engine you have, we can't give a TRUE answer......... Lawn boys have 2 different engines on them.....
How old is your mower ???? For example ........... What engine do you have on it ???

Just to clarify...
Model 10304 (1996 & 1997) used a Lawn-Boy built model "V" 2 cycle engine only. Internally identical to the earlier model "F".
RPM should be 3050 RPM ± 100 RPM.
