Be careful.

If it blows/spits out gas when the spark plug is removed a ignition spark can easily ignite the spewing gas.

Engine model, type and code will be helpful to US.

Engine make, model, type and code will be helpful to US. If it is a Briggs and Stratton OHV engine, the numbers will be stamped into the rocker cover.

It is a mystery which 14HP engine version you have.

As usual, we are getting a rash of posts on this site from people who can never bother to provide the basic information needed for many of us to help them.

Basic information includes: The machine product ID numbers off the label for the machine along with the engine number information.

Note: The machine builder does not make the engines.

Yes, I know this has been brought up many times, but I will repeat it as needed.

Why am I wasting my 50+ years of experience only to be disrespected and seemingly taken advantage of to help others for free?

I get it, I'm a "nice guy" who works for...
