How it will effect the dealers are we will start seeing more commercial quality product as opposed to the consumer box store products. Which may be a good thing. And the box stores will be selling their throw away battery products.

The other thing that will happen is the web site will eventually be closed so things like service manuals & parts manuals will become unavailable
So workshops who have not already downloaded & stored files need to do so very soon .

As for the abandonment of domestic grade machines this is to be expected as just about all of the residential mowers are junk and purchasers have come to understand that spending 50% more for a mower that will last 200% longer is actually good value .
For a long time residentials have been a battle of the price tag that has trashed just about every item in that category .

I think the small engine business has a good decade left in it, or more.
