I have trouble pull starting anything because of arm strength. I saw a trimmer that you could also buy a optional electric start for! It was a Troy Bilt and it was sweet! I'd love to have it! It was quite expensive though, for a trimmer but I guess you get what you pay for.

Since 2001, Troy-Bilt has been owned by MTD Products (Modern Tool and Die Company). It's my understanding that the quality isn't as good as it was before 2001.

The Troy-Bilt electric start is a little 120 volt drive that you will have to be around an outlet and extention cord to use to start... not really handy, kind or like the electric starters on the small gas snow blowers...
They would spin the engine but you had to be close to ac power:frown:.

I think this is what you saw... http://www.troybilt.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_10001_14102_562702_54987_-1
OK idea just not handy where you might be when you need to start it... KennyV
