i had 2 Ryobi ry20825 one just crack a block and the other was falling apart i wouldn't recommend buying one only bright side is that i have a craftsman trimmer with a bad carb and i got a crab out of the deal but still 200$$ down and not much time only about 200 hours each....... :thumbdown::thumbdown::thumbdown::thumbdown:

I do not say this to make light of your loss of machinery. But to be honest, if you really believe you got 200 hours from a hundred dollor trimmer if it were me I would run to the nearest Home Depot and buy every one on the shelf I could afford. In fact I might even borrow money to buy a couple more.

I did not buy all I could, but that's what I did after my ryobi 790r died. Bought a sears equivalent for $113. May still be on sale. One of best tools I owned.

I had hour meters on them and they were about 200 hours really good for owning though for 4 years
