So, grassed surfaces in our little garden are getting damaged when I park my vehicle there. It's an overspill parking issue I got there. Please suggest what should I do about it. Any practical solutions? Thanks a lot!

Are you parking cars/trucks on the grass? Maybe if you only park on the grass for short periods of time and let the sun get to the grass more.

The trick is dryness. I park vehicles on my grass every day I have a couple spots where the grass is gone but everywhere else is fine. I water in the morning after the vehicles are off that way it can get dry by the time we park on it again

The ruts from wagons traveling the Santa Fe trail near my home are still there from long ago. The grass still grows better in between those old ruts than in them. Do not park on your lawn. Pour concrete. Sell a car or two. Have a couple towed. Park a couple out on a street. Do not park on your lawn.

But that's the only space in the house where I can park on. Thanks for your advice!

Does the lawn get back to its good shape when you watered it?

I thought of pouring a concrete. But I guess that would be a problem since there were in-ground lightings near the driveway. I also tried looking for treatments or conditioners, hoping to do the trick. Maybe I should research some more.

PS: My problem is overspill parking where part of the tyres comes in contact with the grass.

How about a lawn- roller, to help smooth out the ruts .. Just a thought..

widen the driveway a bit, or if its from other peoples cars drive sharpened rebar in and let them learn a lesson. or you could move somewhere with more parking.

Park on grass or grass reinforcement products will work wonders to your problem. It is made up of heavy-duty thick mesh that protects grass from cars and frequent walking. Good thing is you won稚 need to excavate the soil to apply it on the surface. Read this article about grass reinforcement products. You can check them out here bit.ly/1vHafv9.
