These 2 filters are the same. The one came off a kohler command 18 that had the entire intake screen completely plugged with dandelion seed. He mowed 2 acres of 10" tall grass and the mower started leaking oil out of the PTO seal. I have never seen an engine so hot that it cooked the label on the oil filter. I am surprised he didn't destroy the engine. I figured it had blown head gaskets but they were fine. I replaced both crank seals and resealed the crankcase and it seems to run fine.

I am too sursprised he didn't and he may still have done damage that just hasn't showed yet.
