Own a Yard-Man by MTD 13AA604F401 with a Briggs & Stratton OHV 311777 0209-E1 engine in it.
It's idling rough, i recorded a video just now after i cleaned out the carb, the issue was happening before doing this (there was a few bits of debris in the bottom of the bowl, there's no fuel filter and the tank has run dry a few times before). Anywho here's the video on youtube - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8fRS_xvDp-o
Is this just a case of the carb's mixture isn't set correctly?
Just an fyi with the carb cleaning i did - Carb cleaner passed through all of the crevasses and nozzles fine
That is surging.
Surging is nearly always due to insufficient fuel.
So either you have an air leak between the carb & engine or not enough fuel is going up the main jet

Thanks for the response. I looked at the seals between the carb and engine today when i had the carb off, they looked good.
Not enough fuel going up the main jet could be caused by the carb being setup incorrectly too right? So like idle speed screw/idle mixture valve.
