riding mower sputters

my Kubota gas powered O turn mower sputters when I engage the lever to start the blades turning to mow grass, what's wrong? I changed the fuel filter; air filter; spark plugs but still sputters

To determine if the culprit is electrical as in the safety shut down system or other, temp. disconnect the mag kill wire at the engine.
