I have a 1994 Powr Kraft 18HP/42” mower. What replacement battery would you recommend.

There are a lot of battery brands out there but not many manufacturers.

The longest lasting battery I ever had was the one that came with an L3000DT Kubota. I replaced it after 16 years but it was still starting the tractor.

I've had good luck with Deka batteries. Deka makes batteries for NAPA.

I’d recommend an Interstate SP-40 or SP-40R, depending on post position. That all I install in twin cylinder engines.

It's a smaller battery looks like 7" x 3" x 6 1/2". It has a 18 HP Briggs & Stratton, 2 cylinder engine.

Motorcycle or 4 wheeler batteries come in 3.25" wide. Width is your big limiter.
