got the valves adjusted good, (thanks guys), replaced the cutter engagement cable easily,
but now the belt looks like it needs adjustment; just spins, won't get tight enough to engage.
Looked at it from the side while running,,looks good, but just loose
Could be several reasons, the belt is not engaging properly. Worn belt, stretched belt, wrong belt, idler pivot arm binding, preventing the arm from fully engaging the belt, belt incorrectly installed.
