I haven't heard any serious problems at all. Early models had folks not following procedure and caused themselves some minor deck belt problems. After they began doing the raise and lower in the proper sequence we don't ever hear anything else from them other than they love it.
I don't like the narrow front tires personally as I want as wide a tire on front and rear as I can get to save the lawn. However, those tires are not an issue if you don't spin them to quickly.
