I have a JD and I need an answer because straight atv ramps dont work. Do the curved ramps allow the mower to drive into a pick-up bed without getting caught up by the mower deck? I'd like to know before I buy a set and find out they're useless.

I also have a jd 42" deck width, and i use the arched ramps that i bought at sears. they were the foldable kind but i bolted them solid,it was too easy to pinch your fingers while putting them on the tailgate.the clearance i have at the crest of the ramp is about an inch-inch1/2. so yes there is enough ciearance plus i have a 2wd truck i;m not sure but i think its a 32" tailgate(down) height.
