I am considering purchasing a Walker MB 18 42" mower. My concern is fitting the mower into my shed. A dealer told me I can gain the required room (length) by raising the mower deck. However the user manual (I downloaded it) warns in several places against moving the mower with the deck raised. I would be moving it with the deck raised only into and out of my shed. There is a very short ramp in the shed doorway which raises the mower a few inches above ground to meet the shed floor level. Without the raising the deck the mower would not quite fit in the shed. I have the length of the mower as 90.25". I would appreciate advice on this. Thanks.
