Have any of you placed raccoon wire on top of your new sod? Was it effective and without adverse effects?

Using raccoon wire on top of new sod can be effective in keeping raccoons and other critters from tearing up the grass, especially while it's still establishing. The wire acts as a barrier that deters digging. As long as the wire isn’t too heavy or left on for too long, it shouldn't cause adverse effects on the sod. Just make sure to monitor the growth of the grass and remove the wire once it’s rooted properly to avoid damaging the new lawn
