I hope everyone is doing well. I am a newbie to lawn care, so please pardon my amateur question.

I am in the market for a walk behind lawn mower for my backyard. I was offered the following one for $75 via a member in my neighborhood.

Any thoughts on it please?

Check both plastic drive wheel gears (make sure they are not worn) and look in got condition. Also check the belt. If everything is in good condition, test the drive for chatter. Drive wheels expensive, belt reasonable, chatter walk away. Only you can make the final decision.

I am not excited about the engine it has (not as reliable as some.) But for $75 I think you should get it. :thumbsup: Just do the checks Rivets suggested.

Just to give you some actual figures on parts, the drive wheels are $24 for a pair and the belt is $10.
