Can someone give me some information about air gap? Does the air gap make a difference on the amount of spark the coil puts out to the spark plug? Thanks in advance to anyone who replies.

The smaller the air gap the bigger the spark
The smaller the air gap the earlier ( advanced ) the spark.
Too close & it won't start.
