PULL CHORD REPLACEMENT ON SNAPPER RP21600

Pull chord snapped on my Snapper. Pull chord shroud is riveted to engine. Is there an easy way to remove them so I can replace pull chord?
 
Don't drill out the rivets!!

There are three parts to remove: plastic top cover, fuel tank (leave the fuel line on and let the tank lay back), metal cover that holds the recoil (two bolts in front, two in back).

Now you will see the recoil assembly and can start the replacement procedure. Do the reverse on reinstall. Don't forget the spacer for the bolt under the tank.
