Hi,
I was cutting grass for about 2h and suddenly the PTO stopped and when I try to engage it, I get error 44. The manual has no such error for troubleshooting. Have 66 hours on it.
What should I try for troubleshooting?
Try unhooking the negative battery cable wait about a minute and see what it does. Also loosen the negative battery cable where it hooks to the starter and clean the ground and tighten back. Look at the clutch wires and make sure they have not been cut where they come out of the clutch and thread up through the clutch stop bracket.
