Exmark Zero Turn Mower - replaced pto clutch twice and both times they burned up and melted after cutting for about 45 mins. I was wondering if anyone knows why they would do that?
Like Fish said... Check the voltage At the clutch with the clutch engaged.
If it is not getting Full voltage the clutch will slip and friction will burn out the disks...
If it is getting Over voltage the windings will over heat and they will burn up.
Also check the ground it Must be good and have No voltage drop at it's connection... :smile:KennyV
