Primer bulb not priming - new lines, filter and bulb

I have a leaf blower with a cracked primer bulb. I replaced the primer bulb, added new lines to the primer and gas inlets and put on a new filter and air thingy for the primer.
I can't get the bulb to firm up or prime with gas. I do get a tiny trickle of gas in the bulb but just a drop or 2. Either way the blower won't start.

I may have used a slighly larger fuel line that I should of, but doubt that would not cause it to prime.

Can there be something in the carb causing this issue?

Thanks!

If you put your ear close to the carb inlet when you release the primer bulb does it have an air sucking sound. if so then stuck check valve in the carb, and good luck getting it unstuck..

It would help greatly if we knew which carb and what machine
Also what primer bulb you bought & where you bought it from.
I have a grab box with 12 different primer bulbs in it .
Several of them are exactly the same size except for the sealing rim.

Does the bulb pop back up quickly or return very slowly

Finally the fuel tank & carb must be pressure tight so if you have the wrong size fuel lines it just won't work .
