I have a push mower (non self propelled) just mulch and side discharge. I am looking a getting a new carburetor and noticed the carb is costing
inwards of $50. While I have seen others in the $19+ range.
The lawnmower purchase price was only about $150.
I was just curious why?
For that price, I might as well ditch the lawnmower and purchase a new one.
Thanks for your comments.

$50 is probably an OEM whereas $19 is a reverse-engineered Chinese copy.
Kohler like to use Minuni or Klien carbs.
They are very good & give little trouble but they are pricy.
$ 19 carbs are Chinese knock off and at that price are most likely defective rejects.
I always get mine through the after market parts companies, Rotary, Oregon etc
While a little more they also come with a warranty in place of wrong size main jets or no holes in the emulsion tube.
